Thanksgiving

Why do we give thanks? We acknowledge what God has done for us or what he used somebody to do for us. Gratitude.

Psalm 106:1- 2 NLT reads… Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His Faithful love endures forever. Who can list the glorious miracles of the Lord? Who can ever praise him enough?

We take so many things for granted and sometimes we feel its our intelligence, our connections, our positions or money that keeps us going, that helped us. These are all good, but, “Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain” Psalm 127:1 KJV

Jesus healed ten lepers, only one thanked him, and he asked where are the other nine? Even we as humans we expect our friends, family, colleagues, workers, students to thank us when we do them a favor.

Please do not ever think you got it all going by yourself. Lets show gratitude to God for everything, and to our fellow humans for every favor done us. They could have said no… they are under no obligation and so is our God, he chooses whom to have mercy on and no one can question him.
